1. Nature of service
PhoneLibre is an independent service that submits IMEI-based unlock requests using standard processes approved by carriers and manufacturers, where such processes are available. We are not an authorised representative, distributor or service centre of Apple Inc., AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Telcel, Movistar or any other brand or mobile network. Any trademark or trade name mentioned on this site appears solely for descriptive and informational purposes to identify service compatibility.
2. Scope of service
Our services are limited to eligible devices and networks where carrier or manufacturer authorisation is available. PhoneLibre does not offer, distribute or advertise tools, software or methods that: (a) bypass device security locks, (b) circumvent passcodes, (c) disable Find My / iCloud Activation Lock, or (d) avoid Google FRP (Factory Reset Protection) restrictions. Any request related to these situations will be declined and refunded according to the applicable policy.
3. Legality
Unlocking mobile phones for consumer use is legal in the United States under the Unlocking Consumer Choice and Wireless Competition Act, signed into law on August 1, 2014. This act recognises the consumer's right to switch mobile networks and keep the device they have paid for. PhoneLibre operates within the applicable legal framework and only processes requests for devices whose eligibility can be verified through standard IMEI-based processes.
4. Pricing and currency
Prices are listed in USD and converted for display in the visitor's detected currency. Final charges are processed in USD via PayPal. Prices may change without prior notice; the applicable price is the one shown at the time the order is placed.
5. Money-back guarantee
Premium Service: if we cannot complete the unlock of your device, we will refund 100% of the payment. Basic Service: refund applies only if the device is eligible and we cannot complete the process for technical reasons attributable to PhoneLibre; it does not apply if the device is blacklisted, has an unpaid balance with the original network, or is otherwise ineligible per carrier or manufacturer policy. Refunds are processed via PayPal to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days.
6. Processing times
Published times are estimates and depend on the network and model. Most orders complete within the indicated range; some complex cases may take longer. The customer receives email updates at every stage of the process.
7. Personal data
PhoneLibre collects only the data necessary to process the request: name, email, phone and IMEI. See our Privacy Policy for further details.
